Brandy is a DOJ Certified CCW Instructor, an NRA & USCCA RSO, as well as NRA, D.R.A.W., and TWAW Certified Pistol Instructor and has been teaching classes since 2017. Most importantly, she continues to train herself, learning from a variety of pro-2A advocates, and continues to bring that knowledge and passion for pro-self protection to all of her students.
By day, a CA Real Estate Broker, Notary Public, and Substitute Teacher, this mother of two will teach YOU how to be capable, competent, and confident with your firearm!
Safety is the name of the game here. Foundational skills are key to taking your training to the next level. After completing a course with Home Grown Safety you’ll have the knowledge and insight to take more advanced classes from the best instructors in the industry. It's up to you to apply those lessons and dry practice!
Brandy primarily teaches at MB-Tactical in Piru, CA. The range is open Wednesday-Sunday and you'll love the opportunity to train outside.
Additionally, Brandy is an approved instructor at Shooter's Paradise of Oxnard. This indoor setting is great when you want to rent several pistols before making your first purchase.
Beside private classes with Home Grown Safety, Brandy hosts monthly meetings for the Ventura County Shooting Chapter of Armed Women of America at CTA.
Brandy is the CA State Leader (2019) and Chapter Leader (2017) for the Ventura County Shooting Chapter of the Armed Women of America (formerly The Well Armed Woman) a national non-profit organization. Reach out to learn more about this group!
In her spare time, Brandy enjoys backpacking with her dog, camping with friends and family, hiking, crochet, sewing pockets into dresses, and dry practice with her pistol!
